Iffat Maab is a project researcher at the Yamagishi Lab, Digital Content and Media Sciences Research Division, National Institute of Informatics (NII). She obtained her PhD in the Department of Technology Management for Innovation at the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo (supervisor: Yutaka Matsuo). Before that, she received M.S. degree from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Topi, and a B.Eng. degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila. She also remained a researcher at Stuttgart University, Germany.. Her research interests include deep learning, big data analysis, natural language processing (NLP), and signal processing.
