Silas Rech is a doctoral researcher at the Department of Information and Communications Engineering at Aalto University in Finland. He is funded by the Trust-M project which aims to build digital services for migrants coming to Finland. His research is about trustworthy and natural speech interactions, focusing on components in conversational agents that make interactions more natural and trustworthy. His prior work has been on privacy-preserving speech processing, privacy and trust perceptions and speech interactions. He received his M.Sc degree at Aalto University in 2022, and his B.Sc at the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany.
