Xuechen Liu is has obtained a Ph.D. degree in 2023 from the University of Eastern Finland (UEF), Joensuu, Finland, based on a jointly-funded doctoral project from UEF and MULTISPEECH, Inria, France. Before that, he received M.S. degree from the University of Edinburgh in 2017, and a joint B.Eng. degree from Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University and the University of Liverpool in 2016. During 2017-2019, he was a research and development engineer at Emotech LTD, London, United Kingdom. His research interests include speaker recognition, speech anti-spoofing, and speech recognition.
